I’m a current client. What’s the status of my pending case?

If you have a petition or application pending with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”), you can check the status of your case by following these steps:

• Visit the USCIS case status online search page.

• Enter your 13-digit receipt number in the box titled "enter a receipt number"

• Enter your number correctly with all 13 letters as printed on the receipt notice, and ensure that there are no spaces 

• Click the "check status" button

• Once the page refreshes you will see the latest update about your case

How can I check current USCIS processing times?

USCIS allows you to check processing time on their website. When you arrive at the site you will see two drop-down menus.

• From the first menu, select the name or number of the form you submitted to USCIS.

• Next, from the second menu, select the USCIS field office or service center where your application is being processed.

• Click “get processing time.”

  • These processing times are updated on or around the 15th of each month by USCIS.
